Indrajit, also known as Meghanada, was the eldest son of Ravana, the demon king of Lanka. He was a great warrior and was considered almost invincible in battle due to a boon he received from Lord Brahma. He was named 'Indrajit' after he defeated Indra, the king of the Devas.

Indrajit played a crucial role in the battle between Ravana and Ram. He was one of the strongest warriors on Ravana's side and caused great damage to Ram's army. He even managed to capture Hanuman, but Hanuman escaped with the help of Lord Rama. Indrajit used his magical powers to create illusions and confuse the enemy. However, he was eventually killed by Lakshmana, Ram's brother.
